From the Gulf of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli

Liby has announced that it will allow BP to begin drilling a new deepwater well next month.
Shokri Ghanem, who serves as Libya's de facto oil minister, said the April explosion of the Deepwater Horizon rig, and the subsequent spill, were "tragic," but the oil industry is also moving into "new frontiers." "An accident will not stop us from digging in this new frontier," Ghanem said. "Life must go on, but we will learn a lot of lessons."

It was

It was until age 10... then all this reality seeped in and wrecked me. And my father did nothing... I still have issues.

Most people can't do anything.

Only a very few dare to be different enough to do anything. And that's called "having issues." There was a global protest against offshore drilling on Saturday. Take a look at what one of our local corporate media outlets said about it and how their readers reacted: ‘Hands Across the Sand’ attracts SD hippies against BP oil spill http://www.sdnn.com/sandiego/2010-06-27/local-county-news/hands-across-t... There were a lot more comments but they've deleted most of them. Not a single person, not even their own anonymous staff, tried to defend their article.

Me too

When I was 10, reality hit me like a rock. I was torn away from my home. They said our dog was with new owners on a nice farm. I still think my father "put him out of his misery", the misery of losing us forever. Home has never been the same since that day. Good news is, I'm really going home soon. Too bad it's no longer there, no longer the same. Well, it might be if only in part. We'll see. The greenest part of south central Ks. near where various rivers and creeks merge into the Arkansas. Not at all like Ks.

suckers

Shamefully... well paid suckers are born far more frequently. Moving on is a must and we can't be bothered with petty things like obligatons, responsibility or restitution. I won't include justice here because it died so fucking many years ago it just ain't funny

Justice is real?

It really existed? Unimaginable. BigOIL will always find a new sucker to allow them to drill till they spill. Just look at BigCORP. They keep moving shit around from one country to the next, lowering real wages as they go as their profits steadily increase. It's built into the system of double digit growth. And as long as profits keep growing, BigCORP doesn't really (fact!) give a shit how far quality, the big Q goes down hill. This is the face of corporate fascism. Take it to the streets and the sweatshops, let the Customer get angry and piss off while the weekly newsletter paints it all rosy. As BigCORP adjusts their attention to the GOLD Customers, the mid range and lower mid range Customers are left hanging on a line while the little guy is left with an outdated product, no chance to contact a salesperson and no way of changing to another vendor without making a considerable amount of ruckus. While BigOIL is slightly different, they follow the same predatory doctrine. As Mr. BP once said, "our primary purpose was not to save the world" ( http://tinyurl.com/33cax97 ). Wait a second, didn't Obama's Chu, on camera ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzoKVrHa_ug ) say "Well, we're going to save the world in part by doing something about the energy problem"? Coincidentally: "At the time the video was filmed, BP had just given $500 million to establish a bio-science research lab in coordination with the Lawrence Berkeley National laboratory." I get it, we're all prostitutes of one kind or another. I'm no exception so I should keep my big mouth shut.
