Obama's US Assassination Program? (newslink)

Thank you Folkie

Your comments fell on deaf ears.  It felt a little relieving to see that no comment to your so well worded response.  They had probably "forgotten" the whole inconvenient due process part of the law and Constitution.  You left 'em speechless.

People really do not understand anymore, so somehow brainwashed, that assassination is an abomination to Democracy.  They are so forgetful of due process.  From the very beginning of 911, we declared war instead of pursue bringing in those who committed the crime.  And now it has sunk all the way to ...let's assassinate people who we suspect.

I have to tell you Folkie, I rather like the environment over here at FUBAR.  I like being on the same page with like minded people.  I like not having to "defend" my positions, but more I like stating them and having an actual discussion, understanding, review, pass on new info.

And I rather see the information here as more...um, researched, estute, um, more factual, than many of the other sites.  Reading Alternet now, is like reading elementary material, and dealing with folks who are on a wave length that I just don't want to interact with anymore.

Yet, I also can understand the need for commenting on Alternet.  Because sometimes, someone will be there and read something from a more "learn-ed" person, and it fills this incredible void for them, for me.  And maybe those guys over there, maybe they "got" what you wrote and are reconsidering their positions.

There are some good sites on our blogroll.

I recently added Andy Worthington's website in the UK, which is worth checking out.

But for discussions, nothing can compare to Fubar because we set it up that way.

Rossi and I had our fill of ignorance and insensitivity on other sites.

We're over two months old now, and we're going to keep improving this site as we go along.

It isn't always easy to separate the wheat from the chaff, but if you want nourishing food instead of indigestible husks, that's the only way to get it.

Speaking of nourishing food

The other day, I received in the mail the food products I had ordered from Native harvest which is Winona LaDuke's outfit.  I ordered the tomato and wild rice soup.  I want to let you know, it was absolutely fantastic.  It is the best wild rice I have ever had.  When I ordered it, I felt it might be a little too spendy, but there's enough soup there for 4 to 6 servings.  (Maybe a little more even).  I added some salmon to it.  Really delicious.  Can't say enough about it.  It was perfect eatin's on a day like today where it started out a little overcast and never warmed up too much.  Perfect.

I haven't ordered anything yet, but I will.

Sounds like genuine wholesomely delicious!

Okay, I just ordered the cream of wild rice soup. Looking forward to a real treat.

right on!

You'll have to let us know how it is...

I just saw somebody on AlterNet defending assassination.

Somebody responded to one of my comments by saying that it is needed to defend our country.

Totally insane.

But I guess some people prefer tyranny to democracy.

Here's a link to the discussion--it is in the first few comments.

Wonder if we should talk about it?

Regardless of being conservative or liberal or Dem or Reub, the issue of assassination is wrong.  Just wrong.  This should be a come together issue, not made into a partisan divide issue.  I felt like the article by C. Norris attempted to divide us into one or the other.  But  he did lay out some definite eyebrow raising specifics. Thanks Folkie for posting it.
